COACH JOE

FOUNDER / DIRECTER | LEAD COACH

Coach Joe grew up surrounded by basketball. Since birth he was in gyms following his siblings around various games and tournaments. Coach Joe played age group basketball representing the Counties & Auckland regions and represented NZ at the Australia state champs in 2012.  Following representing NZ coach Joe further pursued his playing career in the US before coming back home and playing a few years in the NZNBL.

"Swoosh Training started long before it had a name. I was involved in coaching from a young age helping assist in various situations but my passion for coaching really started to increase while I was in the US. Teammates of mine started to join me outside of practice getting extra work in, from then on I knew I wanted to coach full time once I finished playing. Fast forward to 2017 Swoosh Training was born, both the brand and my own journey in coaching has grown and adapted" - Joe Reddish

Coach Joe is currently working for Franklin Basketball Association  as the "Coach & Player Development Officer" along with his role as the Lead Assistant coach for his former team the Enviro Franklin Bulls of the NZNBL
